This fitting has been devised to make a heater spear for heating WVO as part of the process to make biodiesel. Using a water heater element, some pipe fittings (supplied by you) and this cap, you can make a liquid proof heater with which to heat your oil.

The heater can also be used to heat wash water and the bio-diesel itself when drying. When used with an elbow (you could make a straight one too) it runs along the bottom of a barrel. This helps to keep the element covered when heating smaller volumes of oil. The fitting has been designed to fit through the 2 inch bung on a 55 gallon drum. We heat oil in plastic drums, so care must be taken to not let the element touch the sides and melt the plastic. Standard plumbing parts are all that?s needed.

You can make several - a 5500 watt, 4500 watt and 3500 watt heaters.

Comes with detailed instructions and photos.
